Day 2 of the PRADA Cup, the U.S. challenger records a frustrating 0-3 start to the Challenger Selection Series

Auckland, New Zealand – 1/16/2021 – New York Yacht Club American Magic fell in both of its races on Day 2 of the Prada Cup, the Challenger Selection Series for the 36th America’s Cup. In extremely light conditions, all three teams spent large portions of both races held on Saturday in “displacement mode,” fighting hard to find any and all pressure on the inner-harbor race course near Auckland’s North Head. Auckland’s Sky Tower to be illuminated in red with the PRADA Cup logo

Auckland, New Zealand – 1/13/2021 – Starting on January 14, on the eve of each racing day of the PRADA Cup, Auckland’s Sky Tower will be illuminated in red with the PRADA Cup logo projected with a variety of animations, displayed day by day every 30 minutes at the hour and half hour, to mark the Challengers Selection Series of the 36th America’s Cup presented by PRADA.
