Cádiz-Andalusia, Spain – 10/10/2021 – The Spain SailGP Team capsized 85 minutes ahead of the first race on Sunday, October 10 at the Spain Sail Grand Prix in Cadiz, Andalusia.

All six athletes are accounted for and no injuries have been sustained. On righting the boat, it is clear that the wingsail has incurred serious damage. As a result, the team will not be able to participate in the day’s racing and will head back to shore. Further updates will be released in due course.
